Attention Will County Residents! If you have young children, or are expecting, you are invited to enroll your child in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a program created to inspire early literacy skills at home and foster a love of reading.
The program provides children from birth through age 5 with a free book each month, and participation is FREE for residents of Will County! This incredible initiative, sponsored by Dolly Parton and The Dollywood Foundation, is brought to our community by Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and the Will County Center for Economic Development.
While SHSD161 is not directly involved in the program, we are promoting it as an opportunity to enhance early childhood education. To enroll for the program and receive free, age-appropriate books mailed directly to your home, please visit WillCountyImaginationLibrary.org and scroll down to the orange button labeled “Register.” You may also use the QR code on the flyer. Within 6-8 weeks, your child will receive their first book in the mail, and will continue to receive a new book each month until they turn five!
